Introduces Radial Tire For High Horsepower Tractors
07/23/02
GREENVILLE, S.C. - In the
field, soil protection is critical. Therefore, having the
right tire on tractors in the field is crucial. Michelin has
engineered a radial tire that delivers this vital soil protection
with the Michelin MachXBib.
The huge footprint, rounded shoulders and ultra-low pressure of
the MachXBib allow for less soil compaction and decreased rut depth,
providing more protection and preservation of the crops and the
field.
The MachXBib also provides exceptional traction through the flat
crown and long, deep lugs. The low slip rate and rolling resistance
achieved also help increase productivity and fuel savings.
The Michelin radial casing, the braced tread and large air chamber
give this tire the ability to carry extremely heavy loads at a low
pressure. Yet while carrying these heavy loads, the tire still
maintains an exceptionally smooth ride on the road at speeds of
up to 30 mph, thanks to the swept-back lug design.
The tires ultra-flexible, super-strong casing and low air
pressure help to deliver exceptional comfort in the field or on
the road.
The MachXBib comes in the following sizes: 600/65R28, 600/70R28,
710/55R30, 650/75R38, 650/85R38 and 900/50R42. Two new sizes
will be introduced in early 2002: 800/70R38 and 600/70R30.
