Michelin® AG Tires Introduces addition to XM28™ Line
New Tire Continues Michelin Tradition of Superb Traction, Flotation and Productivity

09/16/02

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Michelin, the world leader in tire innovation, announces an all-new size in its line of XM28™ Large Volume agricultural radials: the 800/65R32.

As with the other sizes in this line, the 800/65R32 provides superb traction and flotation for the farm industry’s highest horsepower tractors and combines, giving the mobility needed to work wet fields early in the planting season and late into the harvest.

Extra-deep lugs and a wide flat tread enable the XM28 to generate more pulling power.  By allowing the tractor to take full advantage of the engine’s power, the XM28 helps farmers increase productivity by reducing the time they spend in the field, which translates to fuel and labor savings.

Additional benefits include low soil compaction that leads to higher crop yields; long life that translates to low tire costs; and superior handling and comfort on the road that reduces operator fatigue.
