"Michelin is my #1 preference for ag tires because they flat outperform
every other tire."
"I uses both Michelin® MachXBib® radials and Agribib® radials on my corn
and soybean farm.
I like Michelin radials so much I generally keep my tires when I trade in my
tractors. Last time I did that, my year-old Michelin tires had an inch more tread
than the brand spanking new Goodyear tires off the truck. Another farmer nearby
uses Firestones. He’s used two sets in the time I’ve used one set of Michelin tires,
and I plan to use this same set again. Now, when I trade tractors I frequently give
up the tires that come with the new tractor and have my dealer put on my two- or
three-year-old Michelin tires.
I first decided to try Michelin tires in 2004. By the fall of 2006, we were using
Michelin MachXBib tires and Agribib radials on our John Deere 9620, 8530 and
two 7920 tractors as well as our John Deere 4920 sprayer.
I like the improved durability of the Michelin tires, but there are lots of other
benefits. For instance, the ride is so much more comfortable. I’ve also reduced
soil compaction and less soil compaction spurs higher yields. For me, Michelin
is my No. 1 preference for ag tires because they flat outperform every other tire."
