In January 1999 we purchased our first set of 650/65R42 XM108 from Tirecraft, Bashaw, Ab, and
installed them on our Ford 976 and for the first time we removed all the liquid and added cast
weight and now we run all our tractors dry weighted.
The first chance we ready had to try them out was the following spring when we got our
John Deere 8960 stuck pulling an air seeder, we where astonished when we hooked on and
pulled the whole outfit out without spinning a wheel.
On May 23, 2003 when we inspected these tires, they had just under 4000 hours @ 10% wear,
these tires have now surpassed the hours of the Goodyear radials that came OE.
The cost per hour on these tires is running at $0.07 cents, and we are convinced they
will outlast the life of this tractor.
We have since install at set of 650/65R42 XM108 on our John Deere 8960 in October 2000
and changed over our new John Deere 9420 to Michelin 710/70 R42 XM28 in the spring of 2002
before we put it to work.
Needless to say, we are very pleased with the performances and the cost savings, and as you
know we have recommend Michelin Ag tires to our friends at many other colonies.
To us Michelin AG Tires mean Savings and Performance.
