"Michelin Ag Radials have increased the productivity of my equipment and saved me money"

"In our farm economy today it's very important to have equipment run efficiently. Our equipment needs to hold up to the tough conditions we face while performing the way it should. Michelin Ag has given us several products that do just that. Michelin tires deliver better flotation, improved traction and a smoother ride. Michelin tires provide a great advantage and they will be able to work properly even in the wettest conditions.

We've had a lot of problems in the past with our tires wearing too quickly and separating. This especially was the case with our combine. The weight of the extensions would wear on the tires. So we put a set of Michelin XM108 tires on it and found they hold up really well. They also provide a better ride and stability that we weren't getting from our old tires. The low inflation also gives us better flotation and less compaction. We seem to be getting about 30% more tire on the ground. That's treating the soil right and we need that, especially in wet harvest conditions.

We need to have traction and good flotation from the tires we put on them. With the Agribib on our tractors, we are getting that efficiently. The low inflation technology of the tire spreads the tread out over the ground. This translates into less compaction and better traction. The horsepower the tractor has is transferred to the ground with the Michelin tires. We are not spinning our tires and wasting fuel. With Michelin tires on these tractors, they can work in any condition. Wet ground isn't a problem anymore and that means our work is not typically held up by bad weather.

The wear we are getting out of these Michelin tires has also been impressive. We've been running Agribib Row Crop tires on our Ag-Chem sprayer for two seasons and we're noticing virtually no wear with extra road travel. The tires that came on it suffered from irregular wear and the tread was coming apart. That is when we knew we would have to change tires. These Michelin tires hold up really well and the deep lugs have the ability to tip-toe through the crop without making a path. For such a skinny tire, that's a great feature.

From tractor, to combine, to sprayer I have been impressed by the Michelin performances, their smooth ride and their durability. I will definitively recommend these tires to any farmer."
